Economic downturn
Industry reshuffle
An era of upheaval
Ideals are far away
and must be protected by reality
A frugal, simple way of life
steadily accumulating strength
is the road to happiness
Note to self
Save more, spend carefully
to guard the dream
Pay less for present comfort
Save more for the freedom to set out later
In spare time, walk ten thousand miles, meet all beings
Gold won't appear in crowded noisy market crowds
Go where few tread
Away from internet noise
To small places grounded in nature and people
On the road
Talk with fellow travelers
Befriend those on the same path
Money spent on fleeting experiences leaves nothing
Better spent on the journey, leaving true feeling and ideals
