A professional-technical myth

A professional-technical myth
After finishing a hard, staged piece of work
the peak of achievement and satisfaction is mid-to-late
and shortly after it ends
Then as time passes you feel
something like dopamine drop fast
the solved problem no longer feels that advanced
just "that's all it was"
Hard to retell and explain it with the same mindset
Why fall into that self-deprecating story
Learn the narrative Indian engineers use in US IT
but nature is hard to move
For now the fix is stimulating the brain with new projects
That's only a short-term treating-the-symptom move
Use it as fuel to keep going forward
Keep practicing and shipping, and that becomes the antidote along the way
not the grim endurance people usually mean by persistence
