Idea: sunshine laundry for bedding
Pick up duvet covers and sheets at the door
Machine wash and optional hand wash
Disinfect, mite-clean, sun-dry
That's not the end
Bring them back and put the bedding on for the customer
When you take the dirty set off you already install a spare
One bedding change
is actually a lot of work
It's a real pain point
Lots of people are too lazy to strip and remake
ADHD burns a lot of energy on this chore
A full loop involves two strip-and-make cycles
The key
is scheduled visits, say once a week
Use internet DNA to optimize the whole service
A proper duvet tracking system
Transparent photos of the current clean state
like being hand-washed, or already drying in open sun
Even better
derivative services
Sun-drying bases around the country
Let your duvet drink light and air from everywhere
A duvet that took Dali sun
A duvet that took Sanya sea wind
and so on…
Most people love the smell of sun-dried bedding
Cotton full of sun makes sleep feel safe
Getting the parcel back is like a farmer's harvest
That's peak UX
And in rainy seasons
like Guangdong this summer, almost all rain, duvets going moldy
if someone could ship my duvet to a sunny city to dry
that would be amazing
Even if Shenzhen rains every day
you could still fall asleep with a fresh sun-dried duvet every week
Core offering:
- Sun-dry in another city
- Recurring pickup, strip, and remake as a full service
- Optional hand wash, cleaner than the machine, like mom washing it at home
- Internet-native UX
