The next job isn't mainly about the job itself

The next job isn't mainly about the job itself
It's about what's outside the job
It's there to fit a new life plan
There are new life questions to explore
Back to the person
Attend to your happiness and the people around you
Don't force yourself into someone else's "market price"
or the cold discipline of "what you should be doing by now"
That's not walking your own path

You already know you're one of a kind
The world won't pave a perfectly fitted route
You have to make it

Money really isn't first
Instead:
- Interest in the work (a sense of value)
- A stable team (cash flow, cultural fit)
- A sane pace (daily work shouldn't take more than 50% of mental bandwidth)

Those three are close
Mental-bandwidth share has veto power
Tightly tied to why you work at all
If the brain ALL-ins on technical detail
you lose perception of the real humans around you
In the AI era the scarce thing is aliveness
not machines and tech

In the new life plan
you must keep enough brain bandwidth
to sense the love and hate of people nearby
to control how you show up as a person
Inner temperament, outer consistency
i.e. whether others see you as the same inside and out

So
this new job
is positioned as a survival base and a value base
a premise for a happier life
not a way to spend happiness
in exchange for things outside you (money won't make you happier)
That's getting it backwards
